Product Description

The Seventh Dr Steven Dunbar Thriller. The Governments of the world know a terrorist biological attack will happen sooner rather than later. Vaccination is the only solution, but designing and producing vaccines has never been harder due to stringent trials, rules and regulations and huge settlements in an increasingly litigious society. There is no such thing as a completely safe vaccine but necessity soon begins to outweigh caution and corners are cut, blind eyes turned and scientists given free rein with the new science of molecular biology. The only outcome can be disaster.

"White Death" is the 7th outing for Steven Dunbar, ex-special forces medic. To counter biological terrorism, a political decision is made to crank up the development of new vaccines against Aids, Pandemic flu etc. There's a problem with children who were at a camp and were vaccinated against TB. What's wrong with the vaccine?

With Special Branch involvement & Russian ex-KGB appearing, Dunbar develops James Bond talents, like car tumbling, to stay alive.

A cracking page-turner of a medical thriller from Ken McClure, and makes you think about vaccine safety with all this swine flu / vaccination in the news.

Well, what can I say? I stumbled across Ken McClure while searching for free kindle books and boy, am I glad I did! I've never been one to be able to put a good book down but now that I've found the Dunbar series, I'm ten times worse!

This is a gripping and scarily true to life thriller, designed to have you on the edge of your seat throughout.

I'm recommending Ken McClure works to everyone just now.

I'm one very happy customer :)

I've read several of these books [Dr Steven Dunbar] and I remember I commented on one that his recovery rate after a beating was amazing and now I realize he is an off shoot of 007 [In this book there is even an explicit sex scene] These stories are better than that as there is only one James Bond [thank goodness]. Also with this story there is a little too much padding especially at the start.
The balance of medical jargon is always good as the balance is just right. For me the end came rather quickly and if there had to be padding I would have preferred it to be at the end and not the beginning. - N
