I bought both this and the `Pink Noise' CD by the same people - both were good, but I found the Pink Noise more pleasant and relaxing to listen too as it is less harsh/sharp on the ears.
If you are thinking of buying this CD, or another `white noise' CD, I'd really recommend trying the Pink Noise too (it probably a matter of taste which one you like most).
The only negative is the cost - I think it's a bit expensive for what it is and it should really be half the price.

Format:Audio CD
I have been suffering with tinnitus for the past two months, and I have had real trouble sleeping. I normally leave the TV on, but I found that this CD masks the ringing in the ears like nothing else. Relaxing and great at blocking internal or external sounds.

I suffer from tinnitus and came across this product by accident. Whilst the "white noise" element is very good, there is an underlying sound of a mother's heartbeat - presumably to help babies go off to sleep. I can only just make this sound out, but I find it very annoying simply because I can only just hear it. Strange as that may seem, I daresay other tinnitus sufferers may appreciate the problem. There is also the occasional clicking noise, a bit like the sound of a small pebble being thrown onto something hard. Very distracting (and, no, it's not coming from the player).
All in all, seeing as I had to fork out £3.99 for it, I'm not very happy.
