Biography

If you believe Life is hard yet one of the best gifts anyone can be granted, you’ll understand the journey of Slaine. The hard knocks and struggle of this Boston native may sound like good tidbits for a novel, television or mini-series. Hailing from the Dorchester area with deep connections in South Boston, Slaine’s life was patterned somewhat of a gypsy moving around often. ... Read more in Amazon's Slaine Store

5.0 out of 5 stars What eminem should be 7 Aug 2009
Format:Audio CD
White trash , dirty grimy underground hip hop.
Slaine is one of the best emcees in the game today he just doesnt seem to care whet anyone thinks.
As a member of supergroup la coka nostra (all three members of house of pain, ill bill and big left) he has grown from his first album (white man is the devil volume1) his flow are exeptional and rhymes like a classic album should be bought by a hardcore fan .
Also check out slaine with his project Special Teamz debut album Stereotypez for another exelent album

5.0 out of 5 stars Slaine's Back! 25 July 2007
By It Starts With A C - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Slaine didn't really make a name for himself untill this year. I only know a few people out in my area who knew who he was untill La Coka Nostra blew up. So if you don't know who Slaine is, check this cd out, he's awesome. If anything I'd say he sounds like a cross between Jedi Mind Tricks and Esoteric. He has that sick underground hate style, mixed with good lyrics and wordplay. This CD has a couple songs I would skip but everything else is stuff I'd bump before a robbery. That's a good thing. Check this cd out, "White Man Is The Devil Vol. 1" is even better than this. He is deffinently worth checking out. Also his group "Special Teamz" is something worth peeping.

5.0 out of 5 stars The White Man's Devil 11 Nov 2007
By R. Vaughan - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
MC Slaine is the man period and this is coming from a West Coast fool who grew up in the Bay. The way he rep's Boston and tells folks whats happenin' on the streets is raw. He brings it hard and from the heart, and is one hell of a force as part of La Coka Nostra, because as with all of that line up can stand on his own solo!!! If you haven't heard him, you need to. If you like that MTV soft as puddin' hip hop, this ain't for you. MC Slaine Rock On!!
