These are pure goose down i.e without any feathers, unlike many far more expensive brands that are advertised just as 'down'.

Arrived quickly; really good quality and fabulously comfortable.

I am really pleased; excellent value for money.

Would highly recommend

These are not cheap pillows, but they are very comfortable so in my opinion well worth it.

They are very malleable so you can mold them into any shape you want and I'm far less aware of a pillow being there when I turn over as it just changes shape with you. They are a good size and fluff up very easily after a good shake.

I've since reordered more as I like them so much.

UPDATE
------

Being goose down I was a bit apprehensive about washing these. I washed one and when it came out of the washer it looked ruined, quite flat with a few small clumps dotted about. Thankfully, after tumble drying until completely dry it regained all its volume (and slightly more I think), so I'm really pleased.

Have bought six of these pillows now they are fantastic. I bought them to go with the quilt which I was also delighted with. Best nights sleep ever. Highly recommend.

I was a bit sceptical about spending so much on a product unseen, but as all my local shops only stocked down + feather variants, I decided o bit the bullet.

When they arrived, they looked really classy. The outer part is made of a quality fabric which is sewn with attention to detail.

The pillows do not seem to be filled to the brim, but as they are bigger than standard pillowcases, once you put them into your pillowcase - if a standard size, they really fill it up.

I have found them comfortable, but not in a 'floaty' 'cloudy' way as I had expected, but they are comfortable.

The only issue I have with the pillows is that the down is beginning to escape. Having said, it is not a major issue, and I probably only get 1-2 a day coming out of the pillow in this fashion.

I was really looking forward to getting these but was deeply disappointed. The pillows are so thin that you don't get the benefit of the goose down content . I fluffed them up thinking it was down to packaging but no they were as thin as wafers - useless . When I contacted the seller he refused to refund or even offer a discount.

Two years ago, in 2011, I purchased from Viceroy Bedding a 'top of the range' duvet and pair of down pillows for my daughter, who was setting up her own home for the first time. In short, all three items have been leaking goose down ever since. Appaling! Despite this disappointment, when the time came recently for my wife and I to replace our four pillows and cotton pillowcases, fitted sheet and duvet cover, I decided to give Viceroy Bedding another chance - solely as their prices appear to be attractive. The '500 thread' Egyptian cotton items are excellent value and quality, and are highly recommended. But the four '650 gram fill weight' Hungarian goose down pillows were a big disappointment. Although at first sight these pillows appear to be excellent value, I found them to be of inferior quality, especially when compared to other '650 gram' goose down pillows which I have purchased in the past. Not in terms of construction quality, which is very good, but in terms of 'bulkiness' and 'springiness'. I do not understand why one 650 gram pillow should be inferior or superior to any other 650 gram pillow, but the 'Viceroy Bedding' pillows are without doubt very flimsy, and you need to use at least three (or preferably four) of them, instead of the usual two pillows. I purchased four of them. However, my wife and I decided that we did not want 6 - 8 pillows on our bed, and therefore decided to return them, and instead purchased 4 x 750 gram ('Edelweiss') Siberian goose down pillows from 'MY DUVET AND PILLOW' ([...] Brilliant! Although their pillows were significantly more expensive (£70 per pillow, compared to £40 per pillow), they are in a completely different league - much more luxurious, bulky and 'springy' - i.e. they 'bounce back' much better when you puff them up or take your head off them.Read more ›

Very disappointed at the support offered, owing to the lack of filling. After a few nights the down seemed to be oozing from everywhere.

I was surprised at how little the package weighed and on unpacking the reason was clear - the pillows contain significantly less down than the similar but more expensive department store down-filled pillows I have bought in the past. The quality is good but I find that one pillow is insufficient for my requirements.
