The one-size-for-all is true, though if you are size 10 or 12 you might have to take in the sides under the arms. The ties on the sides are not enough to stop the top-part from billowing rather a lot.
The cut and embellishments are as shown on the picture and it is quite long (again, if you are a size 10 and verging on "petite").
I have just dyed mine as I did not like the white (found it a bit "see-through") and the material takes very well to dyeing: the embroidered parts as well as the lacy parts also coloured which surprised me. The seams / threads of course did not dye but that was to be expected (cotton thread eventually jams sewing machines due to fluff). I used a light colour thus the still white seams are not that noticable.

For the reasonable price and not-too-convincing name of the vendor (The1forU) the quality of this nightdress came as a great surprise. I was after a vintage-looking comfortable nightie that would look more Carrie Bradshaw than Granny Gristle and this hit the mark. It's a perfect fit for me at size 14 but it would probably fit sizes 10-16 well. The side ties are cute and help to cinch it in under the bust, although they should be knotted not tied in a bow if you don't want bruises on your sides in the morning!
This takes fine to being machine washed and tumble dried although it should probably be ironed after washing to keep it looking pristine. Only downsides are the seams inside are a bit unfinished but that's to be expected when you're not paying Nightingales prices.
