Product Description

Book Description

The Whisper of a Million Leaves is a beautiful photographic
book exploring the relationship between trees and their habitat. From the
bizarrely shaped Joshua trees in the Californian desert to avalanche
uprooted fir trees in the Italian Alps to the oldest surviving yew tree
forest in Britain, these are portraits conveying the struggle but also the
resilience and survival of trees in urban and rural landscapes. Poetic and
thought provoking this coffee table book reaches out to an audience that
appreciate photography as art and with an interest in nature and trees.
Foreword by Jon Snow.

From the Author

With this book I am hoping to stimulate more thought and respect for trees
in the onlooker of my photography. Trees are resilient, due to their
ability to grow and change they can survive, however with the ever
increasing Co2 emissions and deforestation, trees are under threat and so
are we.
