Childhood memories 7 Dec 2009
I first saw "While I Live" on TV when I was a child and it made a lasting impression on me. Watching it now, 50 years later, I am not so impressed. It seems rather disjointed and confusing but it does have a certain period charm. Now, as then, it is the music, "The Dream of Olwen", which makes the film.

Enjoyable Oldie 12 July 2010
By Herbert
A very enjoyable film, the music 'Dream of Olwen' sounds as good as it did 50plus years ago, a nostalgic trip back in time, definately worth watching.

I last saw this film about 40 years ago and have never managed to see it again until now.
The quality of the DVD was excellent and the music as haunting as ever. I think Hitchcok would have made a better go of it. The acting was a tad hammy, but that won't stop me watching it again!
