The collection of articles found within this book are to use John Brown's own words 'the ramblings of a slightly unhinged writer or the work of a profound incisive genius - dependent upon your respective view or state of mind'.
Drawn from his personal experiences, or the complete frustration of living in the modern world with all its technological advances but feeling slightly detached - he attacks the common daily frustration and madness felt by each of us, when we are faced withy stupidity and petty regulations. I particularly liked the articles on Christmas and Names. This is a slim collection of his articles, but still a clever and worthwhile read.
