Bought the CD on pre-order and have just downloaded the MP3 - a very small gesture to show support for all families who have loved ones serving our country. Gareth Malone is a truly inspirational person.

A very worthy cause and the song isn't as awful as some of the reviewers make it out to be and you've got to remember that none of the singers are professional. I do tend to agree with the reviewer who said it is difficult at times to understand what they are singing but I suppose if you want to know the lyrics these could easily be found somewhere online. I doubt though that the people who downloaded this song really did it to listen to - they've either purchased it because it's a good cause or they wanted to knock x factor song off the top spot (or both!!) and thankfully they succeeded.

just amazing
This single is as good as the TV show which made it was when broadcast. It'll take a strong woman not to shed a tear just hearing the emotion carried in a well scripted song.
