This book is easily digestible, I like the fact that it is a business book but written in the form of a fictional story. So it's entertaining (quite witty) but then key concepts/models are summmarised at the end of each chapter.
It is quite 'future-focused', looking at how individuals can work in or manage global and virtual teams given the latest trends in international business and the various new technologies out there. As someone looking for new ideas and approaches I found it practical and insightful.

The concepts and ideas in this book are interesting. Its essentially a consultancy / management book wrapped up in a bit of fiction. The concepts are good, although trying to make everything fit into a model be it the 2x2 matrix beloved of consultants or some acronym or six sided model or triangle, got a little tiresome.
The fiction is pretty basic; I suspect Terry wont be taking that career up. But at the end of the day this is probably the best book around for anyone contemplating the challenges of running virtual global teams or tryin to set one up.
Worth a read. Cheaper than getting the consultants in.

Great read.....different for sure and mirrors so much of what is going on in business today. Defo recommend if you want to learn and laugh....
