Featuring the singles "Picture of You" (No.2 July '97), taken from the Mr Bean film, very much has a motown 60's feel, echoes the Spice Girls song "Stop". This song is one of the few uptempo tracks on here. Very upbeat, happy track, great album opener. "Baby can I hold you" (No.2 Nov '97) emotional cover of Tracy Chapman's song and "All that I need" (No.1 April '98) also feature. "All that I need" is one of my favourite Boyzone songs. This track has an American song to it and show cases Boyzone's vocal and backing vocal talents.
The fault with this album is that there are too many balads here. Boyzone are playing it safe, ballads are what they do best but "Where we belong" would have benefited more if there were more uptempo tracks and if the boys experimented with different styles which they did so brilliantly on "A different beat".
Not to say that there aren't some brilliant tracks on here. "And I", "This is where I belong" and "I'm learning pt 1 and pt 2" are beautiful tracks, Ronan Keating's song writing at its best.
