A good book 10 Sep 2007
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I couldn't put this book down. The story is weel lined up, the characters could, indeed, be better developped, but I think their actions and motives are weel explained. The relationships are efective and in the end there's an interesting twist, although the finale could have been longer. But it's a good book, I enjoyed it a lot. I cared for the main characters, and I was interested in their reasons for acting the way they did. And a good lesson to learn, appearences could be deceiving...
If you are a Sandra Brown fan, then this book is a good option!

Fun read to just getaway but frustrating too. Many of the characters just didn't feel real, and even after the motives and reasons behind some of their actions were revealed I still didn't see any logic behind many of their relationships. Plots twists became outrageous and felt contrived.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the characters contianed within. The only disappointment I found was the portrayal of wealth or lack thereof. The Tacketts were supposed to be a highly influential family with lots of money, but I didn't see that.
Despite that I would recommend this book to my best friend.
