Format:Audio CD
That just about sums up this album! Even though i'd heard Danny sing on 'Where the Heart Is' and loved his voice, i was initially a little dubious about this - possibly because it had several covers of 'old favourites', or because we've all seen the 'actor-turns-singer' malarkey happen before and they've usually been damp squibs.
How stupid was i? I bought this three days ago and it hasn't left my CD player since, he really does have the most amazing voice, and his take on the covers is fresh and shows his talents extend beyond performing to understanding the music he sings as well.

The two songs he composed are also great, one a smooth ballad and the other a little more punchy, which made me wish he'd done a few more original songs/songs of his own, rather than covers but hey...i'm not really complaining here!
Can't say as it hurts that he's a cutie either ;-) hope he brings out another fairly soon

I have never heard any Actor or Actress ever sing as good as this.. what an injustice that he went into Acting before Singing. The Album initially appears to be a somewhat predictable blend of cover tracks, amongst 2 new songs, until you realise that Danny actually wrote these, plus he Plays the piano on the album- along with co-producing all the songs in his own style. The title track 'Where My Heart Is'- Dannys track, simply wins best song on the album hands down
(pretty impressive considering the artists tracks he covers here). Danny is a true writing, playing , Singing talent. he looks great, and is certainly set for big things. A must hear voice.

Dannys debut album is a glorious affair,having seen him on TV as Joe Beresford in the ITV sunday night drama,it was a surprise to find his charactor singing! but the boy can sing and its no act.Having just purched his CD after seeing him perform on GMTV,I feel I must spread the word,here we have a new superstar in the making.The album features mainly covers,but they all have a fresh feel due to Dannys voice and excellent production.Love I GOT YOU BABE and ALL CRIED OUT(this should be a single)and the two songs Danny has penned are superb,lets hope the next album has many more.The CD has rarely been off the player ,I really cannot recomend it enough.
