Synopsis
When Lexy Higgins appeared as a guest on the "George Jones Show" on Radio Ulster the listeners went wild for her brand of funny poems that led to comparisons to Northern Ireland's Pam Ayres. Lexy has the knack of voicing the thoughts of the little person in the street from the ever-hopeful dancer with two left feet to the mum leaving her oh so tiny child on the first day of school and much more. You will recognise yourself standing around in all Lexy's poems. Whether you're taking part in the trials and strains of a family holiday (or should that be war?); longing for a pack of ciggys; getting the sinking feeling of visiting the dentist or simply just lying in bed listening to the rain. Life is all here in her poems and so are we.
