I placed my order and the estimated delivery date is the 16th (a day after release) with first class delivery... so i switched to expediated delivery and its still the same date.. am i getting ripped of? i should have preordered with GAME and i would of got it a day before release and with free delivery, so is everyones estimated delivery the 16th and do you think it will dispatch today as GAME has already began dispatching theres.?

Mine is saying:

Dispatch estimate: 14 Oct 2010
Delivery estimate: 15 Oct 2010

But I did pre-order months ago and with Prime.

The delivery is, however, based on estimates, so don't get your knickers in a twist just yet :P

First class, after all is dependant on the royal mail and expedited is just first class unless you specifically choose a courier ;)

Royal mail usually deliver with in 1-2 days, so still expect it on Friday or Saturday if you are unlucky. Or if your area is remote and Sat delivery is limited, then Monday the 18th is realistic.

It sucks, but if you did have the option to go else where, then why didn't you? o.O No reason to complain imo.

I decided to go with amazon because most other companies have already began there dispatch process so no, i didnt really have another choice and the amazon delivery info page clearly stats that when picking expediated delivery you can not choose a specific courier, and the reason im "getting my nickers in a twist" as you put it is because i am paying an extra £6 for a delivery option that at this current time seems to be false advertisement due to the fact the expected delivery date woul be the same with free delivery..

Also dispatched today. expected on 15th and i ordered a few days ago.
Regardless of the delivery estimate, if you ordered first class it should arrive on release day, unless the royal mail screw your delivery date.

Mine says its dispatched delivery estimate 15th which is the release day, if you have paid for first class and it doesnt come, then ask for a refund. simples :)

Dispatched now but still expected on the 16th with expediated, keeping fingers crossed, about reviews.. never listen to them.. only you know if you like a game or not.. happend to me with Aliens vs Predator, it got a 5.0 out of 10 but i would give it a 9 myself.

I ordered mine on the 20 Aug, thats 2 months ago and I've got a delivery estimate of 18 Oct 2010. Thats ridiculous, especially when they had just until a few days ago a message reading "Order with First Class and receive it on release day".. which they have since removed.

Posted on 14 Oct 2010 12:52:25 BDT
yep, tell me about it, that was the reason i pre-ordered.. it would have been just as quick to go into my local town and grab a copy from the shops..

In reply to an earlier post on 14 Oct 2010 14:38:29 BDT
Same here, Ordered in August when it said release day delivery and now it says estimated delivery 18th :-(

Mines been dispatched today, but estimated delivery time is the 19th!!!!! So annoyed, only ordered with Amazon as it seemed cheaper than elsewhere, got the impression when I placed the order on the 12th that it would be delivered on the release day. Will not pre-order from Amazon again, next time I will bight the bullet and pay extra in town to get it that day.

Posted on 14 Oct 2010 14:48:02 BDT
id go with GAME if i was you, there Delivery for preorders is ALWAYS before release day. Amazon could learn a thing or 2 from them.
