What a great book! 26 May 2004
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
This book is a rhyme springing from the simple question of what various animals might be getting up to when we are not looking. It's the surreal and hilarious possibilities that Lynne Chapman dreams up that make it so much fun!
It is such a lively book and the rhyming text is great for reading aloud. My children love joining in the chorus on every page. The illustrations are absolutely lovely - really bright and funny, and every animal has it's own particular character. My favourite is the worm with enormous false teeth, but my children like the pig and all her silly wigs best. A quite unusual and really fun read!

Nice book 8 Jan 2012
By Tutuxus
Format:Paperback
The rhymes are quite nice for young children, and the ilustrations lovely. My children have quite a lot of fun reading about the strange situations the animals get into when we are not looking. I think the book is a bit too small, it would have been nicer to have larger ilustrations.

By Tappers
Format:Board book
Borrowed this one from the library for my daughter. she loved it so much that i decided to get a copy for home. ordered the book thinking it was the same version as per our library book. was very pleased when we received the larger board book which is a slightly extended version of the book and the pictures are brilliant. very pleased and would recommend.
