i have only just got this book but i really like it. it is very practical and sensible.i am normally rational and sensible, but i find i panic if i think something is wrong with my children. this book feels like you have a friendly and trusted gp on the end of the line. it is really excellent.i know i'll make good use of it.

I only discovered this book shortly after it was published, but my first baby was over 1 and we had had some nights where we wondered should we call the doctor (in one case we didn't and we probably should have!). We now have no. 2 and this book is invaluable for them both. I rate it so highly that it has become my new gift of choice for when friends become new parents!

My Mum who is a nurse, recommended this to me, and so far have found it very practical and easy to read.
If you have very little knowledge about illnesses etc in children this is a must to help give good advice and also reassure you when and if to take your child to a Dr or to nurse your baby yourself.

I have and will continue to recommend this to all my friends.

A very good buy.
