After fronting Boyzone for 7 years, and having 16 hit songs, Ronan Keating decided to begin the overload of promotional work again with the launch of his solo single. Along came Notting Hill, the follow up from the team behind Four Weddings and a Funeral, and with it came the perfect song to launch Ronan's solo career. When You Say Nothing At All is a heartwarming song, Ronan's voice only adds to this. No matter how many times you hear it, it can make you cry. The star of Notting Hill, Julia Roberts has expressed her love of the song, and said how it brings her to tears when she watches the film.With a recomendation like that what else does Ronan need. This is the start of a very sucessful solo career, but not the end of his career with Boyzone.

When I originally ordered this I believed it to be Ronan's Debut Solo album, and was suprised to find it was a japanese import of the above single with 4 other tracks. However I was not to be disappointed. Ronan has the most amazing, spine tingling, velvety, orginal voice to emerge in recent years, and although I don't go for boy bands I couldn't help but like Boyzone for simply that reason. This cd has the original single of When you say Nothing and also includes a beautiful accoustic version of it, as well as 3 other well arranged well written and well sung songs. I can't WAIT for his debut album. Musically he is the George Michael of the future. A fine Irish export!
