Biography

Born September 29, 1935, in Ferriday, Louisiana, Jerry Lee had only one or two piano lessons, the teacher whacking him for wanting to play in his own style right from the start. Instead, Jerry taught himself from the radio and juke box, soaking up the styles of Hank Williams, Jimmy Rodgers, Al Jolson and other artists in a glorious era of American popular music. One of his best in my opinion. Had the LP for about twenty years been waiting for someone to do a proper CD. Any Jerry Lee fan.

Another of Jerry Lee's albums that has been unavailable since the 1980's and despite the odd track being nothing special, it is a very good selection of country and rocking material.

Collide In My Eardrums, Please. 23 Sept. 2012

This is one of the later-years records for Jerry Lee, and the hits just keep on coming for the Killer. On this record, Jerry Lee mixes a little dixieland into his rock and roll, and it's a stew worth gobbling up. Really, you can't go wrong with a Jerry Lee record, and this is no different.Play itloud, piss off the neibors, and dance the night away with this classic from the Killer.

If you miss your chance to get one of these you are screwed ! this is one of my top 20 favorite records of all time, it is incredible ! If you are musician you will absolutely love this, If you like Country or Rock ether one you will love it, If you are Grinch or Scrooge or Olga you will love it... you will love it TRUST ME. I like up tempo Music. I listen to a lot of Melodic Power Speed Metal, I do not like things that just mope along... This is no moper its more like a Mopar 383. OLGA scared the crap out of me last night in Her Duster it made me cry.

SPOTTY EFFORT 31 Oct. 2013
By John Walsh - Published on Amazon.com

"WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDE" is somewhat a spotty effort from Jerry Lee Lewis. Ther are a few good selections but this cd runs a poor second to Jerry Lee's 1979 release called simply "JERRY LEE LEWIS".

When Two worlds collide/ Jerry Lee LP record 10 Sept. 2011
By jackson - Published on Amazon.com
This was Jerrys middle lp for Eletrca records- and it is quite good- He does a great job on the title song When Two Worlds Collide and there is a great verision of Good time Charlie gets the Blues-proving once again that Jerry can take any type of song and make his own- over-all a very good album.
