AN IMPORTANT BOOK ON AFRICAN HISTORY, 21 Jun 2008
This review is from: When We Ruled (Hardcover)
If you have read the book "Destruction of Black Civilization: Great Issues of a Race Between 4500 B.C. and 2000 A.D." by Chancellor James Williams then When We Ruled is an updated follow up. It is a must for all those interested in African history but a must for all Africans worldwide. "If you don't your history you cannot determine your destiny"

History based on evidence+evidence+evidence, 27 Sep 2008
This review is from: When We Ruled (Hardcover)
This is an essential book for everyone. Of course especially for African and African descendent people. The most important characteristic of this book is that the sources are referenced and cross referenced leaving no room for misinterpretation and vague claims. Some of the ilustration are beautiful and inspiring. And another important point, from an african prespective, is that most of the sources are European, which eliminates any doubt of bias from the author. A bit tough reading if you are not use to read factual stuff but MOST DEFENETLY worth reading and insparing.
A must read for Africans, not Africans, historians, antropologist, linguistics, sociologist and anyone who is interested in know and understand the world and age that we all living.

The truth at last, 23 May 2007
This review is from: When We Ruled (Hardcover)
This book is dynamite. The amount of research the author has done, and the
various sources which he quotes don't make this an easy read for the
non-historian, but well worth the effort as it gives a completely different picture to the one that has been portrayed by Hollywood, and by
orthodox historians who have not bothered to search below the layers of
misinformation we have been taught about the history of the African
continent.
I have searched for reviews of this book by today's historians but they
all seem to have ignored it. Anyone with a serious interest in African
history should read it, as should all black people.
