Product Description

Product Description

It is never easy to end a marriage. Graeme Davidson experienced divorce himself as a Christian priest, and understands the importance of feeling you are not alone when life is spinning out of control. The many true stories he includes in this book are easy to relate to, and the no-fuss advice offered is backed by fascinating research. When the Vow Breaks doesn't focus on fixing failing relationships. However, it does challenge us to question our motives and actions, to analyse our feelings, and to consider why we react in the way we do to various situations, as part of the process of deciding whether it is wiser to stay or to leave. '. . . bursts with clarity, experience and knowledge . . . a superb guide to prayer.' Church Times on Anyone Can Pray

I really wanted a book that looked in detail at all the Biblical culture and perspectives on what is said about divorce. I had many questions that are not always dealt with by books or that Christians treat in too simplistic a manner because they have not had to think seriously about the issue before. This book is very enlightening and practical. An excellent help for Christians and non Christians alike in the 21st century who are trying to help others or themselves to evaluate what divorce would mean for them and those around them. The author has experienced divorce himself and has the benefit of being a trained psychologist and Anglican minister so is well placed to write this book. Included are various questionnaires for people to evaluate their problems in a practical manner.
