An excellent read, with a refreshing style. Easy to identify with the character's feelings and thoughts. It has a good pace ,is both funny and serious. The book deals very well with some challenging issues. Wicked !!

Isla & Luke 2 Nov 2003
By Hannah
Format:Paperback
This book is fantastic. It is well written, it's good for teenagers and it has a lot of meaning. I found part of this book sad. This book uses a lot of teenage language such as no! I think some people might find it quite hard reading it because of the teenage kind of slang. This book sounds like a proper teenage sort of situation with the boyfriend, younger sister and arguing with parents. When you read this book you can get clear pictures in your head of what's happening. The characters are well-described so you can picture them in your head. I don't have any favourite characters.

I would give this book 4 stars and 9/10 for it. I thought it was brilliant.

this is such a funny book, its got lots of humour and good one liners but it deals with serious stuff too. a good read for both boys and girls, non patronising for teenagers and totally believable characters in Luke and Isla. definitely recommend it.
