About the Author
Kim McMillen was a writer, teacher, consultant in organizational development and a volunteer chaplain at Boulder Community Hospital. She died in 1996, at the age of fifty-two.

What is offered in this book is priceless. I am not personally interested in books of positive affirmations. What I found in this book reflects the wisdom that is within each of us that knows that we are valuable, that we are good enough, that we are worthy of love. This amazing woman drew a line in the sand, calling a halt to all the small ways in which she had eroded the essence of herself through not loving herself enough. In sharing this she offers each of us a gift that can help us to find the courage to be who we are and love ourselves for that. The question each of us must ask is whether we can receive this gift or not?

This book feels wonderful. The expensive paper adds to its indulgent quality. The book has only one sentence to each page in hand writing script. It is full of wonderful ideas of how to treat yourself - how to let yourself know you are loved. It is almost as if a best friend who knows you are feeling down wrote it especially for you. When I feel down I look out this book and read a few pages and it reminds me I'm not such a bad person afer all and that an occassionl treat is definitely in order. I intend to buy many copies of this book and give them to friends when they need to know how much they are loved. Reading this book leaves me glowing inside.

I bought this book as a gift to myself, partly to qualify for the Free Super Saver Delivery on my order!

I read it cover to cover in 20 minutes, and felt a sense of warmth and self-love. I am currently struggling with depression and life-changes, and this little book reminds me to value myself and lift my self-worth!

I now dip into it at least once a day, to give me a lift, or a focus for any questions I have about my life's direction!

I highly recommend this book! Definitely well worth the purchase!!!!!
