The title sounds promising, but Evil doesn't really CALL, he texts - text's several British high school students that is advising them that they have won a free wish, all they have to do is make it and it'll be so.
With Sean Pertwee as a narrator, you'd expect this has to be at least a somewhat decent film since Sean Pertwee is a decent actor.
He must have joined this cast on an "off" day, however.
The story takes place in a series of very short stories of individual students who make their wishes and soon begin to die in horrendous ways relating to their wishes, or find the people they have ill-wishes towards being mutilated in horrible ways.
The fact is, as exciting as this may sound, almost every single death scene has ultimately been done before in horror movies, or comedies such as Scary Movie, and other such spoofs. This had the option to be very unique and it wasn't; the acting is also totally horrific and you get the feeling the movie is here simply for exploitation purposes.
If you're a guy, there's nude girls to gaze at while you're re-counting how many times you've seen these stories happen on different movies. If you're a girl, there's very little here for you, except perhaps a laugh or two, but even those are rare.
This is just gore for the sake of gore, and death for the sake of death - pretty crappy movie overall.
