Product Description

Kaylee Renard has never taken the time for love. Independence and financial security have always been the top priorities. Besides, she believed there will be time for a relationship later, when she can fit it in. In light of a terminal cancer diagnosis, however, her views change, and when Kaylee passes out and falls into a pond, Bastian Connelly, alone and suicidal, goes in after her, hoping that in trying to save Kaylee's life, he will end his own. But life isn't done with Bastian, and neither is love. As Kaylee comes to love him, she wonders what she's missed and seeks to find whatever gifts fate might grant her.

When Angels Cry (Hooley) 20 July 2009

Format:Kindle Edition
A MUST READ!
I'm wondering where this author has been hiding?
She has an amazing gift of linking words together to make a great story.
This book is a great read. Wish I had thought of it first. It is going to be on the Best Sellers Market for sure.

Really makes you hope! 23 July 2009

This was a fast read for me. Not because it was short, but because it really drew me in and made me want to stay! This is one of those "double edged sword" type of books. Finally finding love and knowing that it cannot last is just the saddest thing. The way that the author weaves all of the happiness and joy into the sadness and inevitable heartbreak is impressive. The character development was just enough to make me understand them as real people and more than enough to keep me interested in their story & their outcome.

In this book, I have found a new author to enjoy and I look forward to reading her other works.

did an editor look at this? 26 Jan 2010

has no one noticed the errors in this book? when dropping literary references, somebody, maybe the author should check facts. Sydney Pollock paintings? Sydney Pollack the actor director, or Jackson Pollock the painter?

There isnt anything magical about words. Its what we do or dont do that counts. "e;

Real art isnt simply paint on canvas. It lives and it breathes. And it does so whether anyone is there to see it or not. Real art is its own beginning, its own ending, and we become part of it just as it becomes part of us. It is who we are, who we have beenand what we will become. "e;

In the end, even expensive things break like cheap ones, and all that remains are pieces. Still, Id rather have the pieces than the money because maybe the things bought with the money, if they are the right things, mean something, and if you put the pieces back together, just maybe you have that moment of perfection before everything comes apart again. "e;
