My fave feel-good movie is definitely Singin' in the Rain. Everytime I feel a bit down in the dumps I haul out this classic. Everything about it is perfect with unforgettable scenes, like Gene Kelly singing and dancing in the rain (love the look the policeman gives him) which is my favourite. It's also a sly satirical look at old-Hollywood, examing the advent of sound. There's not a bad note in this movie and it never fails to put a grin on my face. It looks a little out of place amidst my horror collection (I'm a bit of a horror buff, see), but so what? Dignity, above all else, dignity!
