Picked this up at a bookstore at the same time as the Michael Heppell book on How to be Brilliant - both covers looked similar and I liked the colour. They actually complement each other very well. This book is a quick way of discovering your purpose and much to my amazement it actually works - as long as you invest the time and make a determined effort. I've read Rick Warrens book A purpose Driven Life - which I really couldnt get on with - so reading this one was really refreshing. It takes you through 7 key questions step by step (and it took about 2 hours to do) - though I would recommend setting aside a few evenings and time to reflect. When you find your purpose it really resonates deep inside - but reading other peoples purpose doesnt. So expect to keep your purpose secret as it may not make sense to anyone but yourself!

I have been thinking a lot about my purpose in life but couldn t really articulate it in a simple way - I followed Richard s process and answered his 7 questions - I had a great time and it really helped me understand what really mattered to me: in 2 hours, I simply and joyfully (which was a surprise) got my purpose in a sentence of less than 15 words - I m very grateful for that - I found the book extremely agreable to read and enlightening. I would recommend it to anyone who is ready to live the life they were meant to live and want to find out how.

I found this book to be quite helpful. The scenarios you work with make you think about yourself in a different and imaginative way and i wasn't used to that! I think I rushed through it rather fast and it would have been better to take far more time. The book is a useful pointer for you to work out where you should be going but probably needs to be used in conjunnction with a facilitator or other support.
