The quest is over!
After researching dozens of books - and even planning my own 'tidy guide' I now realize that probably the best book ever on de-cluttering and organization has already been written by Stacey Platt.
It is an American publication - so the section on finance naturally refers to the USA Revenue system; otherwise this book is full of incredibly useful information.
What is more, the method for certain tasks (such as folding clothes correctly) is explained in a clear fashion. Such skills are not always passed from parent to child - and you would be surprised at the difference that folding a towel properly makes to your linen cupboard!
The photographs are really impressive and strongly underpin the potentially organized person's need to visualize a positive end result.
This blindingly good book wastes no time in waffling - but offers clear, sound advice.
Save your money and don't bother with the directionless, limpid psycho-babble to be found in some rival `self-help' guides.
