From what I can tell, it's the regular release without the bonus DVD. Hardly special.

It contains the bonus track 'Flux'.

Isn't it annoying when one, as a fan and supporter of a band, buy an album when it comes out, only to have a 'special edition' with more songs released a couple of months later. I'm not going to buy an album twice no matter how 'special' it is. Is the record industry trying to entrap me into downloading this additional content?

I am equally annoyed about stuff like that, but bear in mind, the original version is the 'proper' album. Flux is a single, it wasn't an album track.
