A must for all fans of Suzi Q. Long awaited release of those early recordings from the 1960s. The singles 'What A Way To Die' and 'Light Of Love' have been available before, but now we get more of the lost recordings from the pioneering all-girl band. Don't expect a glam-rock sound - this is true rock 'n' roll. Good quality remastering from the old tapes, but that doesn't spoil the 60s feel. The album complements last year's re-issue of 'The History' by Cradle, the Quatro sisters' band that followed the Pleasure Seekers in the late 60's/early 70's. Not sure about the need for the intro track on each album, though - doesn't really contribute to songs that follow. Listen and enjoy.
