About the Author
Gemma Correll is a freelance illustrator, coffee drinker and sometime ukulele player, based in deepest, darkest England. Gemma has exhibited her work in galleries and shop windows around the world and her artwork has been reproduced on everything from placemats to t-shirts to umbrellas. She has also had her work published in various books, annuals and magazines and has undertaken commissions to paint murals on the walls of pubs and shops in the UK and the USA. Gemma's artwork has been described as 'the perfect combination of ugly and cute', which she hopes is a compliment!

A great gift for Christmas this is adorable, funny and creative. You can record your style and mood each day as well as getting inspiration from Gemma and Mr Pickles. I actually bought this book at Urban Outfitters. If you have a fun sense of humor and love GC and her pug, it's a neat way to immortalize outfits - especially if you enjoy sketching.I don't look at it as a serious sketchbook, but a neat way to display your doodles if you don't need the serious artist sketch pad and enjoy using a variety of mediums.

The book looks like fun. It would be good for a teenager as well as the ten year old fashionista I purchased it for.
It's not real a day to day kind of book as there aren't enough pages but you could certainly put in all your important fashion info. I think pictures would fit in pretty well too.
