The horse world's "Trinny and Susannah" styles rules for looking really good on a horse. Find out what works best for your size, shape and colouring and catch everyone's eye, for all the right reasons! Today with more choice of fabric, colour and styles in the horse world, there is much more chance to get your look wrong - and many riders do! Not only will you come away from this book dressed to kill, you will also be completely colour coordinated with your horse with the help of a specially designed reference chart for shirts, ties, breeches, boots and jackets. A very amusing read covering all aspects of what to wear, and indeed what NOT to wear on a horse, just what the equestrian world has been crying out for. Whilst being informative (ie. what jacket you should wear for each type of showing class) the humour is second to none and really adds the wow factor to this book. Don't think this book is just for showing enthusiasts, showjumpers and dressage riders are equally catered for, but the majority of the book applies towards anyone who has anything to do with horses. This is the only book that will give you tips on how to ensure you buy correctly fitting boots / hats / clothes - AND save money in the process!!

I cannot recommend this book enough!

Just wonderful 13 Aug 2008

I just received my copy of this book this morning from amazon and I must say that it's well buying. An absolute must-have for any riding enthusiast who wants to look their best on, or off, the horse. Funny and full of down-to-earth, practical advice on how riding clothes should fit. The majority of the book is geared towards the showing and competition world but it would be a useful addition to any rider's book shelf. This is what Trinny and Susannah would be writing about if they were horsey folk. Overall, a light-hearted but practical book full of useful hints and tips on colour coordination and generally how to look neat and tidy around horses. A book definitely aimed towards women with a few small sections for men's dress. Would make an ideal gift for you all you horsey ladies out there!

Fabulous Darlings! 20 April 2006
From the moment I picked this book up I couldn't put it down. Not only was it hilariously funny there were a lot of really useful tips. A brilliant relation to Trinny and Susannah who I'm sure would go for the same amazing style if they were in the 'horse world'.

Whichever activities you participate in be it showing, dressage or show jumping, if you want to look the absolute part then this book is definitely what you need.

Now before every competition and before buying any clothes for the ring I always take this book off the shelf to make sure i've got it spot on.

I hope a 'What not to wear if you're a horse' might appear to accompany it!
