Haven't had this album out of my stereo all week since I got it from one of their gigs I went to by chance.

These guys rock and this album just gets you hooked from the first listen, leaving you with their tracks going round in your head all day. Love it!!

What we are today is by far my favorite album of all time. This is NOT a statement i make lightly, i am a HUGE music fan. Failsafe are fresh, origional and make awsome music. This album is hard to describe, theres punk, ragga, hardcore, emo and metal all thrown in to a mixing pot with astonishing results. And to back it up these boys are someting special live too. Can't recomend this album enough, if you don't buy this then you need a hearing test!

I managed to get hold of a copy of this album in advance two weeks ago, and I have to say, it hasn't left my player since. I may even need to buy a new CD in case I've broken mine.
This is quite simply a Tour De Force in terms of debut releases. This album needs as much promotion as it can possibly get in order for a justified number of people to hear the effort put into it. Drawing from a number of influences, Failsafe have developed their style over the years,going from Ska, to punk with emo insertions, to what I can only describe as Energy Rock. Exchanging one or two band members along the way, this album is the fruit of their labour. If you like any of the other bands on the Deck Cheese label, then this is an absolute essential purchase, and one that compliments their live performance very well. Every one of the songs is strong, going from epic choruses to intimate verses (and sometimes vice versa)with catchy bridges and fills all melted into one giant pot and poured lightly over a base of clever lyricism with more than a hint of political value. They are easily the best band on the Deck Cheese label.
