Product Description

From the Author

Everyone who cherishes their pet should read this.
You've heard that vaccines can cause reactions - right? You ask your vet if this is true and - usually - the vet will say no. But how does the vet know? He's been taught by an education establishment that relies on vaccine and drug companies for funding. His continuing education comes from sales reps. Our research indicates that vaccine reactions occur in three dogs in every hundred. Reactions range from arthritis, allergies, epilepsy, skin disease, digestive disorders, behavioural problems . . . all the way through to cancer, leukaemia and death. Please study the facts before you jab.

If you can read through the first chapter of Catherine O'Driscoll's 'What Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines', without bursting into tears, you must have a heart of stone, or possibly even be suffering some of the emotional ill effects of 'vaccinosis' yourself. It is obvious in reading this heart-rending and erudite book that vaccines not only wreak havoc on the mechanisms of immunity that maintain health and a sense of well-being, but also pose significant threat to the undermining of our innate nature. This is essential reading, not just for people who want to protect their beloved animals from suffering, but to avoid unnecessary harm to themselves and their loved ones. We need to recognise the motives and the power of the drug companies, and their ultimate aim of profitability. Allowing both vets and their followers to remain in ignorance of the products they are producing and labelling as 'safe' is simply exploiting people's trust. We as individuals are equally guilty if we are not prepared to look at the facts with an open mind, and weigh up the evidence for ourselves. We owe this to the animals, and children that have no voice or choice of their own, and are dependent upon our good judgement. The evidence in Catherine O'Driscolls book will arm you with the knowledge to make the best informed decision you possibly can on the behalf of the animals and people you love. It will also help you to pose challenging, and thought-provoking questions to those who think they know better.

As the owner of a dog that had an immediate reaction to a booster (blew up within thirty minutes) and went on to have fits (which became every four weeks after the following years booster. Trust me it'll be OK this time, I'm a vet!!), this thoroughly researched and very thought provoking book has opened my eyes to the myths and downright lies spread by the veterinary profession/vaccine manufacturers over vaccination. Yes the incidence of obvious damage may seem to be low but if it's your dog it's a whole new ball game. Mine is now due (March 2001) for another booster; he has not had a fit for nearly 6 months. Will I take him? Not on your life (and certainly not on his). As for 'the experts know their job' 'only' seeing two animals in your, as you admit, very limited experience. Have you actually read the book because if you had you would see the awful consequences of vaccinating, but then for you no vaccinations equals no job as your bosses income would drop so drastically.

Stunning revelations 16 Jun 2004
By Myrtle
Format:Paperback
As a dog owner I was quite interested in this, but thought I would skim through some of the chapters as it looked a bit heavy going. How wrong can you be? If you have pets, children or have had or are considering vaccines for yourself this is a stunningly revelatory book. Backed up by statistics and written in a clearly logical and concise manner, this book will change all your preconceptions of the knowledge and veracity of the medical profession and the oppression of big business. A damming social commentary on just how far we've all gone astray and are contributing to our own ill health. A powerful book.
