Product Description

Product Description

This book contains the selections of Du'a (supplications) in Arabic which Muslims use in their everyday life. A straightforward and simple method has been applied to teach the basic du'a to children ages 3-6 years.

Examples from everyday life are used to teach children which prayers (du'as) to say, how to memorize these everyday prayers quickly, how to understand their meanings, and the right occasions for their use. Beautifully illustrated, each prayer comes in Arabic, English, and Arabic in roman letters.

Good first start 28 May 2010
By Aisha
Format:Hardcover
I bought this for my 3 year old and it is suitable for her age. The book covers 13 everyday dua's, one on every page in Arabic and English transliteration. I would have liked to see a short meaning beside it on every page (though a detailed meaning of every dua is at the back of the book in the Glossary). There are loads of dua books out there and this one is good for very young children since it has nice colourful pictures that allow children to talk about whats happening in the picture and discuss why we say certain dua's in particular situations. Nice and basic, perfect start to educating the young mind.

Good book 8 May 2012
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
Does what you would expect, introduces kids to about 10 or 15 'sayings'in Islam such as Bismillah or Marshallah. One or two I've never heard of before!
The 'glossary' for adults at the end, explaining pronunciation and literal meaning, is good.
My 5 year old was excited to see it at first but hasn't ever asked for it to be read to her. Unlike 'P is for Pakistan' which she asks for all the time P is for Pakistan (Herries Chronicles)
