Product Description

Synopsis

Can he Love her When she is Already Loved by the World? If there's one thing that stunning mezzo-soprano Ashley Steel knows, it's that the demands of love and career don't mix. She's already seen her first marriage destroyed by her dream of singing all over the world. So why, just as she is poised to become an international star, is she about to let a gorgeous horse-breeder steal her heart? Derrick Quinn is a strong-willed man who wants a simple, stay-at-home woman, so he knows he should stay away from globe-trotting divas like Ashley. But as passion overtakes them and rivals threaten their bond, Derrick and Ashley must learn to turn solo lives into a sweet duet and discover the true harmony of love.

3.0 out of 5 stars Love is good second time around 7 Feb 2008
By Denny - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Gospel singer Ashley and Horse breeder Derrick are both mourning the end of their marriages, Ashley due to divorce and Derrick due to death, but only Derrick was seemingly happily married. Both have known each other since childhood. Life has brought them together and the two of them reach out and find love the second time around. However there is one person who is not so happy about the love birds. This is the start of a series about a family of Steeles, refered to by some reviewers as the Singing Steeles which is misleading since all of them are not singers. I found the story ok, there is a little intrigue with voodoo and all that but to be honest that did not work for me at all, it seemd a bit laugh out loud ridiculous.
I would recommend ones borrow instead of buy this book.
