I am the author of one of the short stories in this splendid collection, What Love Is, so I am biased when I say I liked the book.
I was thrilled to read the other stories when I bought the book as they all give different impressions of different love.
For myself this is the first fiction I have written under my own name since 1967 when my paperback novel set in the Canary Islands, The Rush At The End, was published. Since then I have written books about Sri Lanka and the Maldives for Bradt Travel Guides and, as Richard Tresillian, the raunchy historical novels of The Bondmaster series.
My story, Season of the Peacock, is set in Sri Lanka with an interlude in the Maldives, and delves into a relationship that tourists visiting those countries would never suspect.
I reckon every reader will appreciate these different stories and recommend the book heartily.
