The sequel to "The face on the milk carton", this is a brilliant book which shows Janie dealing with moving in with her real family. Feeling she is betraying her "other" parents, she tries her hardest not to fit in. Finally, when she sees sense and starts to become part of the family, the FBI decide to try to find her kidnapper. This upsets their lives, and Janie goes back to live with her "other" parents, breaking her real mothers' heart. A deep, touching story which I recommend everyone should read.
