Product Description

Product Description

The beauty of the words and the striking simplicity of its sentiment has made this one of the most inspired messages of comfort and hope for those who have suffered loss. This is the first publication as a book for a poem that has been recited at memorial services for over a century. It is a moving meditation on death, with a reasurring power that speaks directly to those who have been recently bereaved and millions of people have been comforted by its serenity and acceptance.

About the Author

Charles Brent was an Episcopalian minister who served during World War One as the Senior Chaplain for the American Armed Forces in Europe. Ben Ecclestone studied at Canterbury Regional College of Art, he has illustrated many of Adrian Plass's books.

What is Dying 20 Nov 2009
Format:Hardcover
This delightful little book is beautifully illustrated. The poem has been used for a long time to comfort the bereaved and it is uplifting on several levels. I bought this for a friend who had been recently bereaved.
