Book Description

20 Nov 2013
Mega bestsellers like Proof of Heaven and 90 Minutes in Heaven show a hunger for insight. Who doesn t want to know what happens when we die? But can we know? Are there those who ve been there and back? Echo Bodine is beloved for her down-to-earth wisdom on the decidedly out of this world. Here she shares her lifetime of learning and personal experience about all the above questions. She offers practical tools for being with the dying (including what not to do), grieving (through the poignant experience of her own mother passing as she was writing this book), and cultivating clear and inspiring communication with the deceased. Learning what happens when we die turns out to be inspiring, reassuring, and profoundly life-changing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comforting and Necessary 24 Oct 2013
By T. Love - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I found this book to be so very light and yes, even witty. The topic of death is heavy and deep and one that is not discussed easily or well in our society. Echo Bodine speaks to this topic in a way that brings comfort and grace that hopefully will allow us to better speak to, and help, those who are dying. She's a gifted psychic and medium who understands both life and death more so than the majority and through this book we learn a great deal: the process of dying, how/when/if our soul is deciding to pass, how souls appear, where we go, what we do, how we come into this life with our tasks, how suicide affects the soul, how to help and comfort those who are grieving, etc. She doesn't mess around. It's a quick read that will inform and enlighten. To steal from another review: "If you're human, read this book!"

5.0 out of 5 stars The Soul Speaks Volumes.... 4 Oct 2013
By Kass - Published on Amazon.com

The soul speaks volumes and Echo explains clearly what it is saying about death AND life! The subject of death is so uncomfortable for many, yet we will all experience it. How to speak and "be" with someone who is dying....ways to make the transition sweeter, easier for the individual dying and their loved ones....this book is invaluable. This book answers so many questions. If you are a human being, read this book!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Helpful 4 Nov 2013
By Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez - Published on Amazon.com

I am "exploring" this topic at this moment of my life because I have faced a devastating loss. I am traveling a road I never imagined I would take.

Some of Ms. Bodine's ideas and stories I find helpful. Those ideas that cause me pain or distrust I jetisson (self-serving, I know, but my gut is all I have at this point and I have learned to trust that in conjunction with readings). I believe her publications follow an evolution as a writer who understands her audience. And so, before buying this book, I would like to share the following recommendations which come from the author.

She writes, "I have written eleven books, and of those eleven, I highly recommend two for people who are suffering from loss: Echose of the Sould and Look for the Good and You'll find God. Then you can move on to A still, Small Voice and My Big Book of Healing."

I think I will take her suggestions to heart and make a trip to the public library or used book store.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book. Thank you Echo 15 Jan 2014
By Karen P - Published on Amazon.com

I've loved the many books I've read by Echo Bodine. Her books suggest that the spiritual side of life is so normal and everyday, which of course it is. There is nothing scary or weird about what Echo presents. For those who are troubled by what happens when we die, I can only think this book would serve to settle any uneasiness and hopefully rid any fears. For me this book supported and confirmed a lot of stuff that I've experienced myself as a medium as well as material I have read both by other mediums and material that has been extracted by various authors who have regressed clients via hypnosis. To me the explanation of "home", our lives there and our spirit self is just made clearer and more sensible by this book. I feel this book would be very supportive for people who have lost a loved one, are nearing their own end times, or who have a loved one who is nearing their time to cross over. Thank you Echo

5.0 out of 5 stars Provides a nurturing to my soul 13 Nov 2013
By Jeff - Published on Amazon.com

This book really has added some light to the questions I carry about my dad's recent and sudden death. Echo does a great job in sharing answers to many of the questions I've been asking. Getting a glimpse into her psychic work in the area of death and transition allowed me to find some solace in my dad's passing just one month ago. I know I'm needing something to help cope with this loss - and this book is a place in which I have found some comfort. I read it in 2 days and am grateful for her wisdom. Thanks Echo for sharing this.
