'Valentine Warner is the real deal, a boyishly enthusiastic champion of cooking the tastiest produce when nature says so.' --You Magazine

Product Description

In 'What to Eat Now - Autumn & Winter' Valentine Warner take us on a mouth-watering journey seeking out the foods and ingredients the colder months have to offer. In this seasonal guide Valentine shows how autumn's meat, including lamb, pork, duck and partridge, is often roasted, braised or served in stews and pies. Fish is found in batter, soup, on toast and quickly fried. There are rich dairy dishes and an abundance of vegetable dishes using beetroot, cabbage, sweetcorn, pumpkins and so much more.

This is a book for the inquisitive eater with the recipes that are both simple and satisfying. Most of all with Valentine's engaging style, it promises to bring a little pleasure into your kitchen and joy to your table.

Great book, no doubt about it, but beware it's no different then the original "What to eat now".
Different title, different ISBN-number, but no different content.

I have watched his show on a Saturday morning and have been totally enthralled by his passion for seasonal food. The book is the same as the show - humorous and passionate. The food is easy and have already tried a few with much success. Because its seasonal as well the ingredients are accessible and you can eat the right things at the right time. Love this!

Loved the book, evocative recipes that make you want to cook and embrace Autumn and winter. As I live in the country and have plenty of access to many of the ingredients. It makes you just want to get family and friends round for a good old feast.
