About the Author

Rachel Bright is a writer, illustrator, designer, printmaker and eternal optimist! She trained in Graphics at Kingston University and is just completing an MA in Printmaking at UWE. She currently works as a copywriter for a successful advertising agency, as well as undertaking both print and illustration commissions. Her newly launched stationery range, The Bright Side, now totals over 40 card designs, gift wrap, gift tags, notebooks and babygros and is sold throughout the UK in independent gift retailers and the John Lewis Partnership. Rachel lives in Bristol.

I bought this book after hearing it read at bedtime hour and wasn't disappointed. Great illustrations, lots of opportunities for animated story telling and an adorable ending. Not just for girls either, my 2 year old son adores it and when asked what story he would like replies 'Daddy Do!'.This book always gets read to the end, just great.

A beautiful, imaginative and enchanting book!
Bright, colourful and lots of fun.
Lovely relationship between Dad and Daisy. Love it when Daisy is dropped off at Nursery 'waves goodbye until Daddy's car disappears around the corner... and then just for a little bit longer after that.' I like to think that's my little girl doing the same!!
Will be taking it into work too, my KS1 kids will love it, although they may be disappointed with my knowledge of Volcanoes!
A super book,wonderful illustrations... enjoy!
