The key to a great book for young children is how it sounds when read aloud - and this reads wonderfully! The language is crystal clear, rhythmic and rich and the illustrations are vibrant and warm. If you can read it without a lump in your throat at the end, then you've a hard heart! But be warned: your child is bound to say, 'Again!' - again and again and again.

Bright, powerful colours and emotions.

A bright, colourful book which touches the heart.The baby elephant Small, Smooth and Grey embarks on a journey to discover the colour of Love. The illustrations are bright and friendly and the writing is delightful. Children will ask for the story time and again, and adults will be touched by the beautiful way that love is conveyed in this book.
