Product Description

Product Description

Baptism is taught in the Bible and has been practiced for centuries, but understanding of its meaning and respect for its importance is at a low ebb today. Confusion reigns over questions about its mode and its place in the life of the Christian, and as a result, even many evangelical congregations are downplaying its significance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great answers 22 May 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I really didn't know what to expect from this because I assumed I knew what I needed to, so wrong, this is great for answering those questions that people really want to know about what Catholics believe and the reforms that led to the separation of church, Infant baptism and the like. I am so grateful for this man's work and clarity.

An excellent read from the pen of R C Sproul. Baptists may not agree with everything here but this is a very good overview of baptism.

Every new Christian should get their hands on a copy of this book. A friend of mine who's just been converted to Jesus Christ read it from one of my Kindles and can't believe what he's been missing all these times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well written and presented 16 Sept. 2013

I liked the author's openness and encouragement especially in respect to infant baptism. When I think of infant baptism now I. Will now think of both sides of the divide.
