1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't even ask for it!!! 11 May 2013

After coming back from holiday, abroad, checked my credit card statement to see that while I was away Amazon Prime had charged me £49 for something I had never heard of, let alone ordered! Who, how, when will I get my money back?

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazon prime 14 Nov. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Why on earth should I have to pay to buy a book to tell me about amazon prime membership, how much it costs and what it has to offer?! If an organisation can't tell me that information for free then it is clearly a rip off before I even start! All I want to know is how much it will cost me to be able to borrow books...but given that you seem to be only able to borrow 1 book a month I'm guessing it will be a rip off anyway....especially when books can be downloaded for free or very little..I'm a regular amazon customer and am frankly disappointed by this.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is ridiculous. 26 Nov. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I agree with the other review, it's ludicrous to expect potential customers to pay for information on a product you sell. I guess it's because you know that once they've looked into it they realise it's not a good deal at all and you thought you could make some money anyway. After doing some research, it's £49 a year for prime...pretty expensive way to borrow 1 book a month (and from what I have read from subscribers to Prime, not great books either)and get slightly faster deliveries (you still have to pay for express or evening deliveries!). Very disappointed with Amazon here and I have been a very loyal customer for years!

1.0 out of 5 stars Prime doesn't deliver 29 Nov. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Don't be fooled by the promise of next day delivery- they often use Royal Mail who won't guarantee next day delivery. Amazon already censored about making unrealistic claims concerning Prime delivery by the Advertising Standards Authority- hasn't stopped them though....

1.0 out of 5 stars it is not worth the hassle 19 Dec. 2012

Format:Kindle Edition
It says next day delivery however not always in the past week I have placed 4 orders on amazon with prime. Only one item has arrived the next day as expected the others arrive two days later and the extreme a week later. Amazon don't really help with this problem as all they do is extend the Prime contact for free for an additional month it doesn't help as your items still turn up late. The insist on using HDNL which is the worst service in the UK for delivery all item sent with HDNL for me have arrived late and their customer service is just terrible not helpful at all and complaints take forever to reply to an email. The worst bit is a HDNL operator over the phone said to me deliveries are not next day as it is up to the desecration of the driver when to deliver the parcel. Yet amazon insist on sending with this company. I will never ever again in my life by amazon prime. AVOID AMAZON PRIME!!!!!

Can't think why I need to buy this to find out what it is all about, I suppose in a wierd sense it could be viewed as good value if it saves you wasting money on Prime which I don't now think is for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Disagree with others! Prime is excellent
Have to disagree with the negative comments. If you frequently use amazon the value you save on deliveries alone is worth it 10 times over in one month

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful information.
This guide provides useful information and I would recommend it as a useful read for potential Prime customers if you can't be fussed to search for the information online.
