This expanded release from Strike Force Entertainment essentially replaces the more lacking prior dvd(The red cover one)
The main feature is the documentary 'West End Jungle' clocking in at about 50 minutes it offers a nostalgic although obviously setup look at prostitution circa 1960.
A change in the law in the late 50's forced the women off the streets of London and into other venues, clubs, clip joints, near beer bars etc..
West End Jungle explores these avenues.
The extra material is where the dvd really shines.First up is a 20 minute 1981 mini documentary on cosmetic surgery.Next a 30 minute 1976
documentary'Get 'Em Off' is a real eye opener, add in a few promo reels and a Mark Almond pop video(It uses clips from Jungle)
along with a short interview with director Arnold Miller and an included booklet. All the footage is in great shape too which is a real bonus
when it comes to archive material like this.
