Review

"If I wrote travel guides I'd like to think that they would turn out like this one. It fits in a coat pocket, weighs 8oz, and although it had some rough use there was no sign of it falling apart." John Clarke (UK) - a reader reviewing the book on amazon.com 'The Trailblazer series stands head, shoulders, waist and ankles above the rest. They are particularly strong on mapping...' The Sunday Times (UK)

5.0 out of 5 stars Best book on West Highland Way by far!, 1 Nov 2010
This review is from: West Highland Way: Glasgow to Fort William, Planning, Places to Stay, Places to Eat (British Walking Guides) (Paperback)
This is the only book you need to go the whole way by people who know what they are talking about. It is packed with good advice and information about all aspects of the walk. It is a really good size too.It breaks the walk down into manageable stretches with maps and corresponding important data. I particularly liked the suggestions for day or weekend trips and the information on public transport.

4.0 out of 5 stars Trailblazer Guide to the West Highland Way, 10 Sep 2011
This review is from: West Highland Way: Glasgow to Fort William, Planning, Places to Stay, Places to Eat (British Walking Guides) (Paperback)
Planning to walk the West Highland Way in 2012 so decided to get this book. Have read most of it and found it very useful to get an overview of the walk, the places it passes and accommodation reviews. Used the equivalent book for the Offa's Dyke path and found it invaluable for planning the walk so expect that this book will be equally useful.
