I liked the idea of this toy as my son likes Thomas and is really into watches at the moment so I thought it was perfect. However the batteries on it run out really quickly. You also have to remember to turn the tiny switches off on the watch and the train otherwise leaving them on drains the batteries, obvious, I know, but it drains them really quickly - in less than 8 hours! I think they should of thought of this as kids don't always remember to turn things off and most toys these days you can leave on and they 'sleep' until used again. I've given up changing the clock battery as this also went quickly. The strap is too stiff for little wrists - its made out of very hard plastic and doesn't bend very well. So my son uses it as a hand held remote - defeats the purpose of the novelty of it being on a watch.
Apart from that the train is really good, it whizzes about the place really fast. I doubt this toy will last for very long though.
