Product Description

Werewolf is the first of four books about Michael Cavendish an immortal werewolf. The first book covers his life from his time as a soldier to being turned to a werewolf and details his loves and adventures. Injured in battle Michael is saved and cursed by a gypsy woman who marks him with the sign of the beast. As a mercenary he takes possession of a Keep whose Countess seeing the mark believes him to be the chosen one. She turns him and tries to keep him with her forever. Other members of the pack rebel and he leaves, unaware his enemies will follow. Michael travels as man and beast until a blind girl and her family take him in. He thinks he is safe but his enemies take a terrible revenge. He murders the leader of his enemies and flees. It is now 1933 and a dark force is coming to power in Germany. His only hope is to find a Wych woman, but after finding her he has to fight a dangerous she-wolf and the German army. They try to escape but their way is barred; the only way out is Dunkirk where the Germans have surrounded the allied forces.

Wow, what a fantastic book. For me the story has everything, it keeps you reading and wanting more and more each page. Fanatastic story, with strong charactars that has your imagination running wild. The best story i've read for a long time, and has to be in my top 5 of books read! Really looking forward to the next book.

What a disapointment 16 Nov 2011
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this book on the strength of the great reviews it got, all I can say is I must have been reading a different book !. The plot line is lumbering and obvious, the sex scenes appear to have been written by a contributor for "adult " publications, and the hero's habit of conveniently leaving an enemy alive at every turn to give him something to do later on is annoying.
I didn't care for any of the characters,or what happened to them, a cereal box has more depth than this book.

I bought this book on a whim. There were a couple of good reviews and I figured that I may as well.

One of the best books I have bought in many years.

Initially I found the way the story was lain out confusing - jumping between era's every chapter. But this quickly faded, showing how powerful and memorable the story is. I found the main charecter, Michael Cavendish, very easy to get to know. I loved seeing how he dealt with the changes of time and how someone from cromwells time dealt with WW2.
I started reading this one evening, after dinner, then looked across at the time to see that it was about 2ish in the morning. Loved it. And for value for money, I am happy to go back to this book and re-read it. E.g, reading it in chronological order.

Below the description here on Amazon, there is a note from the author, saying there will be a sequal. Please, if you read any of these reviews, can we have an update on the progress of said sequal?
