...and I wonder where the inspiration for this story came from? Perhaps the author would be so kind as to indulge this here review with a curiosity or two -- offline and off-the-record?
This was a fun little story. I had a good time with the read, but I admit that I was always waiting for the catch...the catch...the catch -- I thought there'd be a little twist at the end. This isn't to say I was disappointed by the coverage -- in fact, it's very well-crafted.
I just think the thing that shocked me the most is that such a plot could actually be hatched -- what's worse, someone could "double-cross the double-crossers," as it were, and be even more sinister than the ones who are supposed to be the dastardly types.
I won't engage in a spoiler alert for the ones who haven't had a chance to read this engaging little story.
I think it'd make for a super film script, by the way. Thank you for the read.
Regards from Prague.

"...that miserable skinflint."
